I was on MIT's website this afternoon and noticed that the school offered 4 different options within the mathematics department. The 4 options were General, Applied, Theoretical, and Mathematics with Computer Science. I'd like to know the differences between these if possible. Is the option with computer science the equivalent of having a BS in Math and a BS in Computer Science. If someone could explain the different options to me as well as the differences between them, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
