(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); 1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

Hello,

I'm given three (one-dimensional) arrays, namesx,y&p.

I want to draw a map, wherepdetermines the color, and (x,y) are the coordinates.

3. The attempt at a solution

Usually I would use contourf, but here x & y are distributed quite randomly on the plane, so I can't create them matrices with meshgrid (I tried just filling matrices with these arrays, and the result is horrible).

I.e. The problem is that those are array that I should map and not matrices.

Thanks in advance!
