Mechanics question

    When you throw an object upward, when does it take shortest time to return: in the presence of air resistance or in vacuum, assuming the same initial velocity?

    I suspect that it could depend on what is the initial speed. Interesting problem. I just might look into solving it if no one else does it soon.
