Did you know that the leader of a superpower is a physicist?

In summary, a physicist who specializes in chemical and physical dynamics is the political leader of a superpower and has never been mentioned on PF before. She has published a paper on gas phase dynamics in the Journal of the American Chemical Society. This revelation has increased the respect for her and she is a product of the East German higher education system. This is similar to the case of the president of India, who is also a scientist and engineer.

That's right, a physicist is the political leader of a superpower! I just found that out; it has never been mentioned on PF before (says google). Apparently she's some sort of chemical physicist, or physical chemist. Here's a link to one of her papers, on gas phase dynamics, in J. Am. Chem. Soc. (1st page):

This is awesome!

lol.. not an "alchemist" then? Cause she will need to turn somthing into gold if she wants to revive the German ecconomy.. hehe

Buts that cool, my respect for her has just gone up a couple of notches

Yup, a genuine product of the high quality, cost-free East German higher education system...those were the days!
