Methods of PMSG control

  1. Sep 9, 2008 #1
I'm trying to find some information on different methods of controlling a permanent magnet synchronous generator, more specifically controlling the torque directly. I've done many searches but the only source of information I can find is from papers in the IEEE database which I don't have access to.

I am currently doing this with a modified DTC scheme made for induction motors, however it is not working very well especially the state estimation part. If anyone has some info on how to do this it would be greatly appreciated. I know its possible since many modern wind turbines do this.
