Molecular geometry

    Hi.

    Can someone please help me find out the molecular geometry for the NH2CH2COOH-molecule, and tell me how they found it?

    Ok look at it this way, you can see that this is a carbon chain.
    NH2 is attached to CH2 backbone and likewise attached to a COOH. Then treat the whole carbon backbone as its own entity, and you can find out its shape. It should be a hybridized form (Sp3, sp2, sp1)
