It appears my desktop monitor is not displaying red. Incidentally I just purchased a laptop and was running it in front of the desktop monitor. I don't believe the problem is related to any manual change of setting, as I have not adjusted anything.

I would suggest first checking the physical connections between your desktop computer and the monitor. Make sure all cables are securely plugged in and not damaged. If the connections are fine, then it is possible that the issue may be with the graphics card or the monitor itself. You could try connecting the monitor to a different device to see if the red color is displayed properly. If it is, then the issue may lie with your desktop computer. If the red color is still not displaying, then the problem may be with the monitor and it may need to be repaired or replaced. It is also worth checking the color settings on your desktop computer to ensure they are not causing the issue. If the issue persists, it may be best to consult a professional technician for further troubleshooting and resolution.
