I'm not very good with words, so what I most need is assistance understanding the terms of these questions.(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

It involves measuring time. I developed a time vs. distance graph and a velocity vs. time graph.

My graphs were constructed using Graphical Analysis. For:

Time vs. Distance: I produced a formula of d = 4t^{2}

Velocity vs. time is of course a straight line.

1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

1) Derive the straight line relationships for each of the two graphs.

2) Determine the constant of proportionality for each situation.

3) Can you determine the physics quantity which the constant of proportionality represents in each case?

I really just need to understand what the questions are asking for.

Thank you very much if you can help me out, and I apologize if this question is not allowed here. Please remove if it isn't.
