Motion in a System and Work

  1. Oct 23, 2007 #1
    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
    True/False If there is no motion in a system, no work can be done.

    2. Relevant equations
    W=[tex]\Delta[/tex]K

    3. The attempt at a solution

    I think the answer is False, because of potential energy but, I am not 100% sure... Any sites on the topic are welcome seeing as my book still hasn't come in...
