Mountaineering Thread

    It's one of my passions.

    There were a few earlier threads in which it was discussed, but I decided to start a new thread devoted to mountain climbing and trekking.

    The 2009 Climbing Season in the N. Hemisphere is in full swing.

    Red Rum is a mountain climber, Mount Kilimanjaro is next for him. He climbs regularly. Maybe he'll post.
