Moving coil instruments

  1. Mar 22, 2013 #1
Can someone tell me how a moving coil meter is converted into an ohmmeter?
I have been searching for relevant derivations for the series type ohmeter but came up with nothing useful. If you have an information source on the subject please share.

    Raikueza, Welcome to Physics Forums!
Here is a website to get you started converting a moving coil meter into and ohmmeter. You may use Google to search for more detailed information.

After you've searched around and learned these basics, if you have any doubts or specific questions, then do come right back here and post them. Members here are always willing to assist a true searcher trying to increase her scientific understanding.
