Need Help solving for X and Y in a molecule

    so far i have:
    Cx(H2O)y +O2 -> CO2 + H2O

    and now what?

    also for 5a .. is it avagadros #... 6.022... x 10^23
    5b... 1.395 x 10^24

    For question four. How many moles of CO2 and H20 are produced? How many moles of your mystery substance are combusted?

    1 mole of CO2 and 1 mole of H2O and .03422 mol of mystery substance

    Are you sure about that? 1 mole of CO2 has a RMM of 44g, H2O has a RMM of 18g.

    ohhh i see now.. ok:
    .03505 mol CO2
    .032125 mol H2O
