Need help with configuration factors

  1. Nov 23, 2006 #1
I have a problem that involves finding the view factor for a open topped horizontal refrigeration display cabinet.

I have found the configuration factor for a elemental element which is shown in the link below:

    http://www.me.utexas.edu/~howell/sectionb/B-3.html

But my problem is that i dont know how to find a summation of all the elemental areas. I think that i might have to apply stoke's theorem again but thats not really my strong point...

Heres a couple more images so you can have a better idea of the problem. Thanks in advance
