The problem statement, all variables and given/known data[/b]

A boron nucleus has mass 8.5e-27 kg. If its speed || is 0.961c (that is, ||/c = 0.961), what are the following values?

    particle energy = 2.767e-9 J

    rest energy = 7.65e-10 J

    kinetic energy = 2.002e-9 J

Next an electric force acts on the boron nucleus and does 2.410-9 J of work on the particle. Now what are the following values?

    particle energy = ? J

    rest energy = 7.65e-10 J

    kinetic energy = ? J
