Homework Help: Needed Heats of Formation

    I need some heats of formation for a chemistry teacher I'm helping. If anyone could help me out that would be great.

    I intepret SO3-2 as the sulfite ion, [tex]SO_3^{2-}[/tex]

    It is hard to add sulfite ion with out adding a positive cation also. Ussually the enthalpy is given of the two combined together, and not just one charged ion by itself. Then there is the question of whether the ion is in gas or dissolved in water.
