Can you tell me what Numerical Analysis is? I wonder if this is good for a Physics major to take?

Numerical analysis is the study of numerical methods for analyasis of functions. Finding roots, maximum, mimiums etc. as well as methods for numerical solutions to differential equations.

Yes this is good stuff for a Physics major.
