Physics Practice Problems: Free Sites for Intro Level

In summary, the speaker is looking for a website with practice problems for introductory physics to improve their grade. Another speaker suggests searching on Google and recommends PhysicsForums for the Homework section, where they can find problems and hints. They also mention an open-source physics textbook with exercises.

Hey everyone. I was wanting to know if anyone knew of a website (preferably free) where someone could go to get some good practice problems for introductory physics. We have a test coming up this week and I would like to just get some extra practice in (trying to pull my grade up from our last test). Thanks!

Physics questions are not hard to find on the internet. Google search "introductory physics problems" and pick a few that fit in with your skill level.

I think the best place to learn Physics problems is here at PhysicsForums in the Homework section. Other sites that have a HW section usually give complete answers, which I learn nothing from. Here, I can see a problem and try to work it out myself then if I get stuck I scroll down to see a small hint and continue on. If you find other sites, let us know. Good luck.

Hi! I found something that may interest you:
http://www.lightandmatter.com/
It is an open-source physics textbook, with actually everything you need about introductory physics and many many exercises every chapter.

I would recommend using Khan Academy or Physics Classroom for free, high-quality practice problems for introductory physics. Both websites offer a wide range of topics and difficulty levels, allowing you to tailor your practice to your specific needs. Additionally, many textbook publishers also offer online resources for practice problems, so be sure to check if yours has any available. Remember to also utilize your class notes and textbook for practice problems, as they will be most relevant to your upcoming test. Good luck!
