Online study group

  1. Nov 5, 2012 #1
    Hey guys!

Not sure if this is posted in the most appropriate section.

I've been away from physics for a little bit and I'm trying to get back into it in an attempt to go to grad school. I have this book called 'Quantum Physics of Atoms, Molecules, Solids, Nuclei, and Particles' by Robert Eisberg and I was going to try to go through it and study and do most (maybe all) of the problems in it to hopefully jump start my knowledge.

But it got me thinking that maybe there are others out there that may want to do something similar (ie, self study quantum just for the heck of it or for more self-study purposes). So I thought an online study group of sorts would be great where we could discuss topics, do problems and convene to discuss those and any questions from the group. Questions that couldn't be answered could be researched, etc. etc.

I have access to an online meeting portal that is pretty good, with a virtual whiteboard space to draw and annotate on. We could meet in those rooms.

If anyone is interested in this, let me know. And admins, if theres a better place to post this for responses, let me know.
