Optical circuit simulator

  1. Mar 26, 2012 #1
hello i am current a laser student and i deal with optics and electronics. over the years when i am dealing with electronics i use a simulator like LTspice for simulating electronic circuits which has been really helpful and i was wondering if something like this exists for optics. i want to be able to connect optical fibres as wires to couples or isolates or lasers and simulate results.
i did some research and found this simulator but im not sure if its what i want:http://www.aspicdesign.com/Data/Documents/What_is_ASPIC.pdf [Broken]
