Dark Matter Mapped by Hubble (space.com article): http://www.space.com/scienceastronomy/070108_mm_darkmatter_map.html This is a very interesting article on Dark Matter and there are nice pics showing its clumpiness at varying distances from Earth. According to the last paragraph of the article, the new observations from Hubble show there MUST be at least some of the hidden mass in the Universe attributed to DM. However, MOND backers are saying that the DM doesn't account for all of this hidden mass, only a portion of it. I'm curious to hear the opinion of some PF experts on this new finding. Do any of you still support MOND, or is your support for it waning after this new DM Model?
