Parallax (definition)

  1. Feb 12, 2006 #1
"The Parallax of a planet that belongs to our solar sytem is defined as the angle under which the equator radius of the earth is visible from a point on that planet"

I understand the definition but i can't visualize it. Can anyone draw me a mathematical model of it?

If a planet has a parallax of x deg. where would that angle be?
