Pipe diameter increase

  1. Jun 17, 2015 #1
Was wondering whether a 2 kilometre section of 80mm asbestos water main was replaced with 150mm PVC then rejoined into the last 3 kilometres of old asbestos would it create pressure breaks. The head pressure is 50 metres.

    Hi Breakorburst. http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/5725/red5e5etimes5e5e45e5e25.gif [Broken]

You won't get an answer to your water pipe question in this New Members Introduction forum---as the name implies, this is just for introducing yourself and saying Hi. You need to post your question in the appropriate forum.

The forums where you can ask technical questions, or for help with homework, coursework, or software details, can be found on our home page.

I can see you are enthusiastic to post, but please read our guidelines to posting so that your post has the best chance of getting a helpful answer. Click in INFO for links to much relevant information.

    Good luck!
