Planets and Position

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
    Indicate the positions of the planets in the sky at the times given. I am struggling on how to answer these questions any help would be great any help would be great. thanks pf!

    3. The attempt at a solution
    1) Jupiter at eastern quadrature around sunset?
    Jupiter would be visible high in the southern sky

    2) Mercury at eastern elongation just after sunset?
    Mercury is above the western horizon

    3) Saturn at western quadrature around midnight?

    4) Jupiter at opposition around midnight?

    5) Venus at western elongation just before sunrise?

    6) Mars at conjunction around noon?
    would not be visible
