In summary, the clip of the emergency landing of a Boeing 767 at Warsaw's Okęcie airport was no longer visible on YouTube but can now be seen with Polish commentary on another website. The incident occurred about half an hour ago and there are no immediate reports of injuries among the 230 passengers. The landing was smooth and there are no updates on the arrival of the luggage. This is the second incident in less than a week involving a landing with technical difficulties, which raises questions about the maintenance history of the planes. The pilot's name, Wrona, means hooded crow which is fitting for the slogan "fly like an eagle, land like a hooded crow." The video is currently only available to users in Poland.

(you have to watch an ad first and you will have to listen for Polish commentary).[/SIZE]

That must have been "exciting" for the passengers. Was anybody injured? (Still not in the news in the US, yet.)

Looked like a nice smooth landing.

Are they going to change the companies slogan?

Who needs wheels when You're under good wings

Great landing. Did the luggage arrive yet?

I just realized, that flight came from NJ. I walked over to the grocery store this morning. Just imagine if I had taken a plane instead and that it had a stopover in Okęcie

Borek,

That is the second incident in less than a week, on October 26th you reported a similar https://www.physicsforums.com/showthread.php?t=544219" where IranAir 727 landed with the nose gear retracted. I would love to see the maintenance history of the front end hydraulics for both of these planes. Funny, how the same thing happened less than a week apart though.

Rhody... :frown:
