Polymer in D dimensions

  1. Assuming that the polymer walks randomly in each dimension, (with arbitrary D dimension) independently. Can I say that the (Omega)D=(...)^D. In other words the number of configuration (Microstate D) is equal to the number of configuration raised to the D dimensions. If yes, why?
