Pool and physics

  1. May 9, 2004 #1
Anyone here play pool? There is a great deal of physics in pool. I myself being a person who studies physics picked up the game pretty intuitively.

yea i love the game, i tend not to think about the physics behind it though, just try and go with the flow.

I have tried to play snooker in the past which has similar physics elements in it. I was terrible though. The balls kept flying off the table, and I'd miss the ball frequently. I didn't care though. I just played for a bit of fun, not to win or anything.
