Positive electricity?

    Can electricity be positive instead of negative? What differences would it be? Can electricity be used to repel things?

    For question 1, positive or negative as a term for electricity is a historical accident. Either term could have been used to denote the charge of electrons. It was called negative before people understood the physics behind electric current.
