That's what you call 'biting'? You go to U Pitt, and that's the best you can do? (You live in the Oakland area?)

Inverted fountain, indeed! I guess I've now got a new name for my kitchen sink.

Why am I feeling so chirpy and bright today?

:uhh: You might be working with your head too close to the cryostat. Let me introduce you to someone you haven't seen in a while...Gokul, meet bed. Bed, this is Gokul.

I'm not sure there's an angle of where I work that wouldn't be obscured by construction equipment. We have new buildings going up on every side of us right now. All the really pretty, old buildings are on the downtown campus, not up by me on the medical campus.

Some facts about my undergrad school:

-#1 most wired campus in the US. I can't believe we even beat out MIT.

-Has an NROTC unit which has graduated more Navy admirals and Marine generals than any other institution other than the US Naval Academy. In '04 the commander of both the Atlantic and Pacific Naval forces as well as the commandant of the US marine corps were grads from my school.

-largest student run special olympics program in the country

-most students involved in the Habitat for Humanity program than any other school

-My school is also a national arboreum and has over 1500 trees.

-My school is also home to the Liberty Bell's "sister bell" which was ordered to replace the Liberty bell after it had cracked.

-some of the campus buildings were used as hospitals during the civil war. you can still see pulleys on some of the buildings that were used to raise and lower bodies from the building

Okay, folks, so many of you are sharing photos, but not telling us where those photos were taken! Not everyone has visited every university campus in the world to recognize where the photos were taken...please share.
