In summary, the most common cause for a website not loading on Chrome is an issue with the website's code or hosting server. To fix the problem, you can try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, accessing the website on a different browser or device, or contacting the website's administrator for assistance. The website may work on other browsers because they use different rendering engines. To prevent this issue in the future, regularly update Chrome and communicate with the website's developer or administrator. Additionally, certain extensions or plugins on Chrome can affect a website's functionality, so try disabling them to determine the cause of the issue.

I've been using Physics Forums on Chrome for quite a while. Just today, my homepage has massively changed, these are screenshots:

Does anybody have any idea why the homepage has restructured itself on chrome. It works fine on Microsoft Edge.

That seemed to do the trick, thanks.

What is causing the website to not load on Chrome?

The most common cause for a website not loading on Chrome is an issue with the website's code or hosting server. It could also be due to network connection problems or an outdated version of Chrome.

How can I fix the problem with the website on Chrome?

First, try clearing your browser's cache and cookies and then refreshing the page. If that doesn't work, try accessing the website on a different browser or device. If the issue persists, contact the website's administrator for assistance.

Why does the website work on other browsers but not on Chrome?

Different browsers use different rendering engines, which can cause websites to appear and function differently. It's possible that the website's code is not fully compatible with Chrome's rendering engine.

Is there a way to prevent this issue from happening in the future?

To prevent website compatibility issues on Chrome, make sure to regularly update your browser to the latest version. You can also reach out to the website's developer or administrator to make them aware of the issue.

Can extensions or plugins on Chrome affect the website's functionality?

Yes, certain extensions or plugins on Chrome can interfere with a website's functionality. Try disabling any extensions or plugins and see if the website works properly. If it does, then you can try enabling them one by one to determine which one was causing the issue.
