Projectile motion

  1. Oct 21, 2004 #1
A cannonball is fired at an angle of 30 degrees from a tower 25 m high. If the cannonball lands 185m away, how fast was it moving when it was fired.

This is on my study guide.. and it has me totally stumped..
If anyone could give me a little help.. The unknowns are time, Height of y, and initial velocity.. or am i making it too difficult

You could start by writing the equations of motion for the cannon ball.
