Px in horizontal direction (about fluid mechanics)

    1. Plot Px in horizontal direction about three quarters of cylndrical surface ABCD

    3. my question:
    ①Why does Px point at the right?

    ③What does the blank mean? Because ABCD is only 3/4 of a circle surface?
