Homework Help: Px in horizontal direction (about fluid mechanics)

  1. Oct 9, 2015 #1
    1. Plot Px in horizontal direction about three quarters of cylndrical surface ABCD
Px: horizontal force in unit length

    2. formula: P=ρgh

    3. my question:
①Why does Px point at the right?

③What does the blank mean? Because ABCD is only 3/4 of a circle surface?
    Thank you very much
