Quadratic forms

  1. Sep 30, 2009 #1
Let Q: R3 [tex]\rightarrow[/tex] R be the quadratic form given by
    Q(x) = 2x1x2 + 2x1x3 + 2x2x3 where x = (x1x2x3)t
How do I write down the matrix A of the quadratic form Q in the standard matrix E. and how do I find the numeric values for [tex]\lambda[/tex]
