Courses Quantum Mechanices

  1. Mar 28, 2016 #1
My university offers an honors sequence of quantum mechanics and I want to take it except I am not an honors student. They do have an exception where if you have a certain gpa you can take the class but my gpa is not close to the gpa needed to take the class due to my freshman year screw ups. However, I have done sufficiently better in my physics and math classes now so would it be appropriate to ask my advisor if I could take this course, because I am worried that he will say no.

If you ask, you might not get the chance to take the class.

If you don't ask, will certainly not get the chance to take the class.
