B Quantum tunneling

  1. Nov 25, 2017 #1
    (P1 + P2)2 - 4P1P2 = (P1 - P2)2 (A - B = C)

    The reflection and transmission probabilities are

    R = C/A

    T = B/A

    Can one understand this from the first equation?

    Is the first "equation" one or two equations? It is written a bit unconventionally.

    That is not an equation. Are the brackets in the right places?

    i just wrote A - B = C
    to label the terms in the equation.
