the semester before your last, like if you are going to apply say to start in Fall 2008, then most people would take it in november/december 2007, that's really the latest you can take it

I understand the importance of standardized tests in evaluating a student's knowledge and skills in a specific subject. In terms of the timing for the General and Physics GRE exams, it ultimately depends on the individual student's preparation and schedule. Some students may choose to take both exams at the same time, while others may choose to space them out to allow for more focused studying. It is important for students to carefully consider their strengths and weaknesses in each subject and plan accordingly. Additionally, it is important to note that the content and difficulty level of these exams may vary, so students should thoroughly research and prepare for each test to ensure their success. Ultimately, the timing of these exams should be determined based on the individual student's needs and goals.
