I'm studying applications of thermal transpiration, and I'd like to know if anyone knows the equations that can be used to describe the thermodynamics of a rarefied gas. Specifically, I'd like to know what equations can be used as the basis for a Monte Carlo simulation. I'm assuming that convective effects aren't going to be dominating here--at least not in the way I'm used to.(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Any pointers or suggestions as to where I should look first?
