[QUESTION] Building a Lever/pulley for domes to lift up.

  1. Aug 10, 2011 #1
We're going to have a project in our Physics class and this is what exactly we're going to do--> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vv01yWHo_1o", we're going to construct a Geodesic Dome.
We are planning to build a lever for the dome to lift up/open the dome/to see the objects inside of the dome. Here is our plan-> 6028697001_4d7efeac75_b.jpg ( http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6200/6028697001_4d7efeac75_b.jpg )
We already know how to build a dome but our problem is we don't know how to build a lever. Can anyone help me? I would be super duper grateful!
