Questions about Grad School

  1. Apr 6, 2012 #1
    Hi!
I am 2nd year right now, and
I just got next year's timetable listings for my university.
    (It is University of Toronto.
    Course descriptions: http://www.artsandscience.utoronto.ca/ofr/calendar/crs_mat.htm
    http://www.math.toronto.edu/cms/tentative-2011-2012-graduate-course-descriptions/ [Broken])

I am thinking of skipping MAT327 (Topology) because I self-taught topology via Willard,
and I find most of materials just review (of course I am able to do homework problems and tests).

    Here is link:
    http://www.math.toronto.edu/~herzig/327.html
    http://katlas.math.toronto.edu/drorbn/index.php?title=10-327

I am instead thinking of taking MAT1300 (Topology 1) for graduate school, so I can take more graduate courses before I get into grad schools.

Do you think skipping MAT327 in the level of Munkres will hurt me when I apply to graduate schools?
