In summary, the conversation discusses the issue of the "Insert Quotes" option disappearing while editing a reply. The solution of manually adding quotes is suggested, with the reminder that the quoted poster's information will be lost. The alternative of copying the quote from the edit window is also mentioned, with the realization that it copies the whole banner. The conversation ends with gratitude for the clarification.

Once I make a reply, and then in editing said reply the "Insert Quotes" does not appear to be an option anymore. Or am I missing it?

You can always add them manually, or put them into the edit window for a new reply and copy them from there (in the source editor at least).

Edit. Never mind, the second route is the best way. For some reason I thought it was only copying the text in the quote, but it does indeed copy the whole banner as well.

Thanks for pointing that out to me.
