Radium testing?

  1. Mar 28, 2013 #1
How can you test an area for radium cheaply, and how can you test your body for exposure. In other words how would you test a room? And what types of tests could you get yourself?

Ever heard of a Geiger Counter? They detect radioactive elements, such as radium.

many other sites I believe , well they are not quite cheap as candy but then again it's not like you will make one in your home that easy too.

try searching DIY dosimeter if your interested , google has some nice crazy forums for guys that have done it.
