Random Process and Signal

  1. Dec 12, 2009 #1
What is the difference between Random Signal and Random Process?

A random process does not necessarily imply and ensemble of random signals. Is this correct?

To some extent the difference is between physics and math. "Random process" is a term used in mathematics, while "random signal" refers to a physical process, which can be represented mathematically as a random process.
