Have one address that is closely guarded, and one to three 'throw-aways' for all other purposes.

For suspicious (those I suspect likely to mis-use it), try anon@invalid.com. That one is so popular that 'invalid.com' is one of those URLs that on the list of URL's that are officially recognized as don't implement it.
