Rate of Water Flow help.

  1. Jul 15, 2010 #1
I am trying to figure the flow of water through a quater inch hole straight down. I know the area of my hole is .49 square inches, however, I am not sure how to go about getting the rate at which water will flow through that hole. Any help would be great.

    Use Bernoulli's equation.
