I really do not know which form this fits in. Recently I have been looking into getting an Ebook reader like the kindle to avoid things like printing massive amounts of material or reading on a laptop screen. So I was wondering what is the best ebook reader for reading things like Journal articles which have very specific formating?

In my experience, anything which can render PDF, and render it faithfully, with formatting intact (none of that reflow business). However, since I did not grow up with computers, I find that I (and a lot of friends of my generation) print longer PDFs off and read / highlight / mark them up. It's also very satisfying to look at your stack / filing cabinet full of papers and think, "Yikes, I read all those!"
