Homework Help: Rearranging Formulas (very simple question)

    Ok this is a veryyyyyyyy simple question.

    d= vt + at^2/2 (motion equation)

    I want to find a (acceleration)

    2d -vt/t^2 = a

    is this the right way????

    Not really. If you list the steps you use we can identify where you went wrong.

    You are close, but you have some silly mistakes. Be careful when you multiply.
