Recommendations needed to learn about pneumatic airgun actuation and reloading mechanisms

I am working on a mechanism to make an automatic pneumatic airgun as a highschooler. I can't sail any further than some basic concepts.

Would appreciate some useful links, resources or books to study actuation and reloading mechanisms etc

Do you mean like an "impact wrench" for changing car tires? Or do you mean a semi-automatic air rifle modified to full-automatic? Could you please clarify?

Something like a fully automatic air rifle

What have you found in your research so far? There are lots of fully automatic airsoft guns out there, have you considered looking at those for inspiration?

Sorry, but we probably shouldn't help you with this project. While Airsoft guns are not regulated, pellet-firing air guns are in many locations:

Helping you build a fully-automatic version may be problematic for the PF. Please be safe in your project. Thread is closed.
