Relativty & thermodynamics

  1. Nov 25, 2005 #1
Are the laws of thermodynamics compatible with the theory of relativity? I'm doubtful about irreversibility & the concept of an infinitely slow process. Please help me.
    I am,with great respect,

"Infinitely slow process" is an approximation even in ordinary thermodynamics. A nice merge between the two theories can be made. Read more in Tolman's text.

Why did you publish in such a crackpot journal?
