I've been wondering for a while, a Rodin coil's magnetic field generation is the center as a strong open air magnetic field is it unique or is it easily duplicated with different wire configurations that might have this property in a stronger manner more easily.
I have tried to find other methods of generating this same effect on the internet but have been unable to.
I realize that the rodin has a lot of junk and bunk associated with its properties but that aside I'm really only interested in its magnetic properties at this point

I have also been looking at Rodin coils lately, and I find it very troubling (fx this talk on TED ), that it could generate a magnetic field, even when the current is turned off. Any one knows anything about rodin coils' electromagnetic properties ?
