Rolling Motion

  1. Sep 30, 2004 #1
I've been looking at rolling motion with a centralised CM, and have managed to get my head around it... but I want to model the moition a sphere with an off centre CM over various surfaces.

I was hoping someone might know a good book or website that would help, or be able to give me a pointer, since I've searched my local library, and google to no real result!

    Thanks!

This is a very specialized topic. Try to find a textbook with an indepth section on rotational dynamics, or a textbook only about that area of physics.
