Has anyone else cracked the obvious coded instructions imbedded into the 'Video's', release of Saddam Hussain?

It is quite obvious that Iraq is using the 'Worlds-Media', to contact Saddams forces throughout Iraq. The obvious ally first-strike would incapitate the Iraqi Communication infristructure, Iraqi's, and that includes Saddam Hussain are not stupid!

The backup system is the worlds media, I mean what better way to communicate than to give a 'press conference', expect all the worlds media(who are competing against each other to get the news on to every TV set in the world at the first exclusive moment), to relay the 'interview', and at the other end, the Iraqi end bath party user, just has to recognize which Video is being played(each Video is a Battleplan), and carry out instructions!

One recent Video clearly has instructions to:detonate Explosives at Iraq'i Dams, flooding the lowlands and all the 'DESERT RATS', will be purged from our sacred marshlands, the Devil infedels will never leave the marshlands, end quote.

Fascinating.

I, too, thought this very same thing.

I was comforted with the thought that the allies are also using the media. Where the terrorists and now Saddam uses the media for communication, we use it for disinformation. Ingeniously, we adopt our outgoing messages to confound the enemy - a much more comfortable situation than relying on it as a means of communication.

Unfortunately, as things progress to the inevitable struggle, our position will become more and more deplorable. Saddam was right on one point - America cannot stand the sight of even a single casualty - we do not understand that to make an omlette you must break some eggs.

'press conference'
Saddam has not given any press conferences. In fact evidence from those very tapes indicates they were taped BEFORE the war even began. For example, he praised and exhorted some troops in a specific unit to keep fighting, when in fact they had already surrendered. There are several possible conclusions that can be drawn from this.

The whole of Saddam Hussain's 'Video' collection, is pre-recorded, and each recording is relaying specific orders? For example all recordings have been copied and distributed to all his Bathe Party headquarters, prior to the invasion start. What ever video is played to the media, and it could be one of many of the pre-recorded Video's,dictates the state of play?

Saddam Hussain has prepered for every eventuality, and as he is currently 'unavailable', for live broadcasts himself, the Video's are his instructional communication routes.

The fact that Saddam has not given any press conferences, is the whole purpose of the VIDEO'S. The content of which is relaying his battle plans!

EVERY commander will tell you (and many do on a daily basis on CNN) that the minute the first bomb is dropped the battle plan goes straight out the window.

Umm, coded instructions? I don't think so... you know, Iraqi TV is still broadcasting. They could send military messages a little bit easier. Also, if you listen to Franks' CENTCOM briefings, they believe Iraqi high command (not just Saddam) are still able to communicate effectively through a number of channels.

Also, Saddam did mention the commander of the 51st by name. Yup, that's the division that was supposed to have surrundered... but it didn't entirely. :( The guy who was claiming to be the commander was later found to be a low-level officer, hoping for better treatment by pretending he was more important than he was.

Additionally, our commanders have stated that Iraqi TV is still broadcasting because we made the decision to ALLOW it to. If they believed it was being used to transmit orders (that they were worried about) they would stop it.

The problem is that the iraqi TVs still throw propoganda towards the people and give them a one sided view of the war.

We must take out the TV signals.

Yeah! Take out the TV signals! We'll have no reporting of their side of this war. Our side should be the only version of the war allowed to be telecast!

That doesn't bother me one bit, plus. It only hurts world opinion of Iraq to see their lies and barbarism.

Iraqi TV went out today it seems. Incidentally, that was probably a violation of the Geneva convention; as TV stations are not a 'military target.' Makes you wonder how relevant some of those conventions are... both showing videos of POWs and bombing TV stations definitely help the relevant sides' war effort in this day ang age.

It was only down for a few hours. They are back up and broadcasting again.

BTW if Saddam is using his broadcasts to relay messages to his commanders in the field, the transmitter then becomes a "fair" military target. Similar to a combatant firing at you from a church or a hospital. Once a special facility is used as an asset for assault it's fair game to be fired upon.
